Johnny Mullagh Cricket Centre

The Johnny Mullagh Cricket Centre has been developed by the Harrow community as a means of celebrating the story of the 1868 Aboriginal cricket team and the fascinating history of the township.

Who was Johnny Mullagh? His real name was Unaarrimin and he was arguably the most famous Aboriginal cricketer of his time.

The Centre tells his story and of the group of talented Aboriginal cricketers who toured England in 1868 and became Australia's first international cricketing stars.

Located at Harrow in the Wimmera of Western Victoria, the Johnny Mullagh Cricket Centre is within easy reach of both Melbourne and Adelaide.

The picturesque town has a number of historical attractions to explore and the Wimmera region offers a wide range of tourist options.
